1954 Military

From a website by Trevor Sidaway, a British man drafted into national
military service, which was compulsory for school leavers until the
early 60s. Trevor was posted to Gibraltar, between Spain and Morocco.
The military base there had an arrangement with a hotel in Tangier, a
ferry trip away where soldiers could go for some R&R. Here we see Trevor
and friends on the beach below the El Farhal hotel - and a couple of
pics back at base.
